Mr. Morris has written a book about the subject of marriage to beautiful young virgins from around the world. Mr. Morris was barred from entry into Vietnam by that government.  Despite this, he came and went in and out of Vietnam at his leisure by using a variety of secret methods that are discussed in his book "FlashBack."  The discovery of his presence there would have triggered his immediate arrest. 

That discovery occurred during Tet celebrations in 2003.  The subsequent investigation resulted in a recommendation that Mr. Morris be issued a multiple entry visa renewable every six months.
