Vietnamese currency is call the "Dong."
The plural of the currency is also called the "Dong." One (1) US
dollar = 15000 Dong.
Vietnam is the only country in the world where you can take out
your "Dong" and everyone wants some.
New currency (above) with tear and counterfeit resistant features
were intrduced in December 2003. The coins since 1975 were placed into circulation.
